We are extremely delighted to announce that the Keith Owen Fund has confirmed a grant of £900 towards Sidmouth Sea Fest 2014.
The Rev’d Handel Bennett, Chairman of the Grants Committee said, “The SVA supports this new initiative for celebrating Sidmouth’s long association with the sea. We hope it will enable each of us who lives in this community, to understand the importance of sustainable development and to encourage responsible tourism. It should be a great day out for all of us to enjoy!”
Sea Fest organiser Matt Booth said, “Sidmouth Sea Fest has been an ambition of ours for some time and has now gained great interest from many people. The event would not be possible without this grant from SVA for which we are extremely grateful. This now means that we can go full steam ahead with planning the event and not hold back on making it a day to remember”.
We would like to express our most heartfelt thanks to the SVA and all the Keith Owen Fund trustees for supporting Sea Fest with this grant.
